Born: Philadelphia, PA, 1995. Daliah Ammar is a twenty-three year old artist living in Brooklyn, NY. Based on her memories of Palestine, where nightly burning of trash and crops along the highways is a common practice, these fire paintings explore Ammar’s sense of displacement from her Palestinian culture as she’s grown older. l2011 | Excellence in Fine Arts, Walworth Barbour American Int’l School, Even Yehuda, Israel2010 | Excellence in Digital Photography, Walworth Barbour American Int’l School, Even Yehuda, Israel2010 | Excellence in Fine Arts, Walworth Barbour American Int’l School, Even Yehuda, Israel
